Patagonia Fishing Company

ALL OF ARGENTINE PATAGONIA!!!

From Tierra del Fuego to northern Patagonia around San Martin de Los Andes

The Patagonia Fishing Company is managed by our oldest friends and contacts in Argentina. The PFC team helps us offer the most diverse and complete roster of EVERYTHING Argentina has to offer to the South American angler. From the sea-run browns of Tierra del Fuego to the luxury lodges north of Bariloche, Patagonia Fishing Co. has gathered together some of the best and most unique properties and fisheries under one banner.

With five independent operations, including nearly all of the significant trout fisheries of Patagonia, the Patagonia Fishing Co. has the most diversity of any fly fishing operator in Patagonia. Their high level of service includes the countries best bi-lingual guides, five exclusive estancias (ranches), nine private lodges, over 100 miles of rivers at their disposal.

The PFC program is broken down into five different operations. We encourage you to view each of these destinations individually for more details.

Each of the following regions has its own web page on our website under the Argentina drop-down.

Esquel Outfitters:
Esquel Outfitters is owned, operated, and guided by the owners and management of the Patagonia Fishing Company. Beginning three hours south of Bariloche, Esquel Outfitters operates their most enduring programs in the most remote regions of Patagonia Los Alerces National Park, Esquel, and Rio Pico/Corcovado regions. Rivers (with miles of private access) such as the Arroyo Pescado, Rivadavia, Carrileufu, Guiljiana, Chubut, Rio Grande, Corcovado, Lago Verde, and Rio Pico are a few highlights from the fine list of waters available.

Dreamcast (North of Bariloche)
The Junin de Los Andes region north of Bariloche is home to the oldest fly fishing properties in Patagonia. Clients have the opportunity to stay at old school lodges such as Arroyo Verde, San Huberto, or Collon Cura. In addition to the luxury lodges, anglers can elect to organize overnight camping float trips on the Limay Medio, which is one of the greatest BIG brown trout fisheries in Patagonia.

Northern Patagonia Fishing Club (Alumine Region)
The often overlooked region, two hours north of San Martin de Los Andes, has escaped angling pressure in recent years. It is a nice alternative to the fixed Estancia operations to the south. A region known for smaller rivers and very consistent dry fly opportunities, guests at the Northern Patagonia Fishing Co. have access to a multitude of rivers and lakes in the region including the Alumine.

Aurelia Lodge (Tierra del Fuego)
Aurelia Lodge operates on both the lower stretches of the Rio Grande as well as ten miles of access to the Rio Menendez. With few guests / anglers per mile and the only lodge with exclusive access to both sides of the river, Aurelia Lodge offers something that competing lodges of Tierra del Fuego cannot match.

Estancia Laguna Verde(Jurassic Lake)
Lago Strobel (known to us gringos as Jurassic Lake) is home to the worlds largest rainbow trout. With Jurassic Lake, two rivers, and several smaller lakes in the region, Laguna Verde offers a six month season for trout that average ten pounds! Nearly thirty rainbows were landed last season over twenty pounds! This is an excellent option to be combined with three days of fishing Tierra del Fuego.
