ABOUT US

The Tailwaters Ladies Club is a completely free membership-based community of female anglers at all stages of their fly fishing journey. From the beginner to the woman who spends 200+ days on the water, we provide the educational resources, outfitting services, and travel opportunities to support our female angling community near and far. Texas residency is not required, and all ages are welcome.

Our goals are to provide meaningful education both in-store and through our social media to advance female anglers, offer the most dialed assortment of women's fishing apparel anywhere both in-store and online, and organize fly fishing travel that meets all budgets and appetites for adventure.

Warmwater Seminar + Grundens Trunk Show

Join Tailwaters Ladies Club at the shop for a one-hour classroom instruction on warm water fishing in Texas. From gear, fishing techniques, and even discovering a new honey hole - we will share pro trips and tricks for pursuing our local species.

We will also be giving a first look at new ladies products from Grundens. Come hang out, have a coffee, learn, and shop!

Casting For Recovery + Soča //
F3T Pre-Party

Join Tailwaters, Casting for Recovery, and Soča for a community happy hour at the shop from 4:30–6:30 p.m. ahead of the Dallas stop of the Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T) screening at Community Beer Co..

The gathering celebrates the F3T tour and Casting for Recovery’s featured film, “The Jane Project: Carried by the Current.” In conjunction with the film, Casting for Recovery will bring the Jane boat- the central vessel in the story- from Montana to Texas, offering attendees a chance to see it in person and support an incredible organization.

The happy hour will feature drinks, give-aways, and more. The event will also mark the launch of Soča at Tailwaters. Soča will showcase its new outdoor apparel line, with 10% of event-day sales benefiting Casting for Recovery. Madison Sawyer, a CBS reporter and avid fly fisher, will be onsite capturing footage of the event.

Ladies Club x Woodland Plantation
May 12-16, 2026 // Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana

Join Tailwaters Ladies Club on an epic adventure to the Louisiana coastal marsh in pursuit of redfish on the fly. Less than one hour from the New Orleans airport, this fishery is home to the biggest and most plentiful redfish imaginable.

Lady anglers will stay in single occupancy accommodations at the antebellum / converted Inn called the Woodland Plantation. The Plantation offers up the peak of Southern hospitality, comfort, world-class food, a well stocked bar, and lively atmosphere.

Inclusions are 4 nights accommodations, 3 days of guided fishing, and meals. We are also programming some extra bells and whistles during our stay, including some evening time learning about the history of the Plantation, ongoing conversation issues, and so forth. Ladies joining the trip are also invited to a Happy Hour & Redfish School, hosted by Rebecca Milne, at Tailwaters Fly Fishing on April 25th from 2pm - 5pm.

Tailwaters Ladies Club is running this one back . . . even better than last year. The Iguana Island Invitational is a laid-back, all-species ladies tournament takeover of The Palometa Club. All skill levels welcome. The amazing guide teams from TPC will compete for prizes based on the fish you catch.

Tan lines will fade. Panga stories won't.
