// A RISING TIDE FLOATS ALL BOATS // 12th Annual Palometa Tournament Recap
Just under one month ago we successfully wrapped the 12th Annual Palometa Club Tourney benefitting our non-profit efforts for Punta Allen, The Rising Tide Fund Inc. This year’s event marked the celebration of our second “official” year of fundraising to benefit several meaningful projects and initiatives in the town of Punta Allen, on Ascension Bay, and in the Sian Ka’an Reserve. As we successfully wrapped up our 19th year we also joyfully celebrated moving into our 20th year of chasing tails and treating Permititus since 2005 with our friends in town.
On hand were some of our most loyal repeat guests as well as representatives of several key sponsors including Fishpond, Poncho, Yeti, and More Left Fly Co. We had a great crew who remained positive with high spirits through some challenging weather that ended up resulting in insane fishing, including 8 Grand Slams on our final day. The Rising Tide Mission was on full display all throughout another the magical week of laughs, camaraderie, generosity and friendly competition targeting all species. Congratulations to our winners!

The winner of our Grand Slam Raffle was longtime repeat customer Don Kirkwood who is walking away with a free trip to the Club next season along with a mountain of rods and reels. Congrats Don!
