From Balmaceda, guests are transferred by vehicle to the lodge, with a drive of approximately 1.5 to 2 hours through scenic Patagonian landscapes. The lodge is located roughly 20–25 miles from Coyhaique, making it accessible while still offering a remote feel. Most itineraries are structured as 7-night, 6-day fishing programs, with transfers coordinated by the lodge to ensure smooth logistics.

The fishing season at Estancia del Zorro runs from November through April, aligning with Patagonia’s spring, summer, and early fall.
