Fly Fishing 101
We’ve changed things up for 2026 and now offer a two-part FF 101 Class. The first part of the class will be a casting and knot tying session centered around the basics of fly fishing. Students will be introduced to the essential knots and rigging, plus spend time learning how to cast a fly rod, as well as how to hook, and land a fish. This is the perfect opportunity for students looking to learn the basics and get on the water for their first trip.
The second part is an optional classroom add-on for students looking to learn about equipment, flies, and more. This class happens immediately after the casting portion and is a great way to dive deeper into the sport. It’s especailly helpful for students looking to fish on their own without a guide or anyone looking to fully immerse themselves into fly fishing. 12 spots available per class.
Casting and rigging $150 (8:30am to 10:00am)
Classroom add-on $50 (10:00am to 11:00)
What's Included
We will provide all the rods and reels, but feel free to bring your own. All students will receive a hat, fly box, and a basic tool kit.
2026 calendar
