New Phase Teton Single Rod W/Reel Tube
$39.99 USD
A single-tube carrier for transporting a rigged fly rod with the reel left on. New Phase lists it for fishing rod transport and rates it for one 4-piece rod up to 10' with the reel attached, which keeps the outfit together for quick setup and takedown. The tube uses nylon-covered ABS, giving you a hard shell with a softer outer wrap. This one is sized for a single rod and reel, not a multi-rod case. New Phase also includes a chemical warning on the product.
Know the terms
- Rod tubeA rod tube is a rigid case that protects a fly rod during travel and storage. It keeps rod sections from being bent, crushed, or chipped in transit.
- Tube flyA streamer tied on a hollow tube instead of a hook. The hook is added separately on the leader, so the dressing can slide off the hook after the grab.
