Umpqua’s XS435 BN5X Bendback is a bendback-style fly hook for patterns that need point protection. The bendback layout helps a fly ride with the point up, which is useful around grass, wood, and other cover. Umpqua lists it with a straight eye, a forged bend, and a V-Lock bend for strength and hook security, plus a micro-barb.
