RIO Elite Gold XP is a weight-forward floating line with a half-size heavy profile and an “extra power” taper in RIO’s Gold lineup. It suits dry-dropper work and light indicator rigs where you want cleaner turnover without jumping all the way to a dedicated nymph line. RIO pairs a mid-length head with a medium-long rear taper and a balanced body to cover a range of casting lengths, from longer dry-fly shots to heavier rigs through deeper pools.
