What it is
Hareline 3D Big Fish Eyes are adhesive stick-on eyes with a raised, three-dimensional dome. They’re built to take abuse, add flash, and give you that clear pupil-and-iris target that shows up on big patterns in both fresh and salt.
What to tie with it
Use them anywhere you want a defined baitfish head and a strong trigger point: press them onto finished heads, epoxy or UV-resin heads, or directly onto the fly and then lock them in with a coating. They’re a natural fit on large baitfish and squid imitations, plus the oversized heads you see on musky flies and big saltwater streamers.
Flies and the fish they're for
These eyes are at home on big-profile baitfish flies for bass, pike, and musky, where a bold eye helps finish a bulky head and gives predators something to key on in stained water. In saltwater they’re a common add-on for larger redfish and bonefish patterns and for big crab-style flies for tarpon and permit, especially when you’re building a tougher head that needs an eye that won’t quit. They also fit right into oversized “big and ugly” style streamers people fish in spring and summer for aggressive warmwater predators.
