What it is
Hareline Brush-On is a brush-on cyanoacrylate adhesive, basically super glue packaged for the tying bench. It’s a medium-viscosity, gap-filling glue that dries clear and leaves a durable, water-resistant bond on the hook.
What to tie with it
Use it to lock down thread wraps, reinforce knots, and secure materials where you don’t want anything to slip after a few fish. It’s also a solid choice for bonding both natural and synthetic materials and for securing eyes on flies, especially when you want the attachment reinforced without building bulk.
Flies and the fish they're for
It fits naturally into baitfish tying where you’re stacking parts and want them to stay put, including patterns built with brushes and synthetic components for both freshwater and saltwater. It’s also used in the Da’ NutraRat style of rat fly, a big surface pattern typically fished for largemouth bass in ponds and lakes and for trophy brown trout on rivers that see mouse-and-rat eats after dark.
