What it is
Hareline Glo Brite Floss is a fluorescent fly-tying floss built to show up as a neon-bright accent on the hook. It lays in smooth wraps for clean, high-contrast sections like tags and bands, and it’s bright enough to act as a visual trigger even in broken water.
What to tie with it
Use it for hot spots, tags, collars, ribbing, and full bodies by wrapping it like standard floss and controlling bulk with tight, flat turns. Some tyers also use it in place of tying thread on salmon-style patterns when they want that same fluorescent pop carried through the build.
Flies and the fish they're for
Green Butt Skunk uses it as the bright butt/tag that helps the fly stand out for salmon and steelhead in rivers. Royal Wulff uses floss in the body and is a classic attractor dry for trout on freestones and pocket water, and it’ll also take panfish on lakes and ponds. The Blowtorch leans on a fluorescent hot spot to get attention and is commonly fished for trout as a nymph in rivers and tailwaters.

Compared with UNI Super Floss, Glo-Brite is substantially brighter and reads as a truer neon fluorescent on the finished fly.
