What it is

What to tie with it

Reach for it any time you need extra shank length without jumping up in hook size, like long-bodied nymphs and compact little streamers. It’s a good platform for caddis larvae, mayfly and stonefly nymphs, plus bigger buggy stuff like hellgrammites and dragonfly nymphs, whether you’re building slim bodies or adding bulk with dubbing, wire, rubber legs, and weight.
