What it is

Hareline Pearl A Glow Flashabou is a flash tinsel made from pearl fibres blended with glow-in-the-dark fibres. It’s built as lightweight, durable strands that stay flexible, so it pulses and flickers in the water while throwing both reflection and a glow effect.

What to tie with it

Use it anywhere you want shimmer without adding bulk: as a few strands in a wing, as a lateral line, or mixed into a tail. It also works well palmered or wrapped as a body like a mylar tinsel replacement, and you can fold it back for a tougher, fuller flash profile on streamers and lure-style flies.

Flies and the fish they're for

Glow Comet style patterns use glow flash in the tail, body, and hackle to build a bright, attention-getting profile for low light and deep water. Fish it for trout in tailwaters and lakes, and for salmon and steelhead in rivers when you want extra visibility and trigger.
