What it is
Hareline Premo Turkey Flats are turkey flat feathers with soft, even fibers and clean tips. They’re lightweight on the hook but durable enough to handle tying pressure and fishing abuse. In the water they stay slim and natural-looking rather than adding bulk.
What to tie with it
Use them for upright posts and parachute posts, and for classic dry-fly wings where you want a neat, even silhouette. They also work well on thorax-wing dry flies, where the feather becomes the visible wing over the thorax. Some tyers also use turkey flats for things like tails and slim nymph bodies when they want a feather fiber look and consistent tips.
