Hareline Senyo's II Laser Yarn Dubbing Dispenser

What it is
Senyo’s II Laser Yarn Dubbing Dispenser is a compact, lightweight dispenser loaded with a multi-color assortment of laser yarn dubbing. At the bench it feels supple, blends easily, and goes on the thread without a fight, letting you build anything from a tight noodle to a shaggy, airy mass. In the water it gives you a soft profile with a little extra presence compared to plain fur-style dubbing.
What to tie with it
Use it as fly dubbing for bodies and collars by twisting it onto your thread, or blend it into your existing dubbing mixes when you want more life and a subtle flash. You can also stack and align it for wings, veil it over a base for veiled-wool style heads, or pack it into sculpin-style heads and small fry/minnow shapes. It’s equally comfortable on trout nymphs and dries as it is on bigger streamers and tube flies.
Flies and the fish they're for
This material shows up a lot in sculpin heads and small fry-minnow style imitations, which are classic trout and smallmouth tools in rivers, and also cross over to trout in stillwaters when baitfish are on the menu. Used for salmon and steelhead patterns and tube flies, it fits right into swinging and stripping flies for anadromous fish in coastal rivers and Great Lakes tributaries. Tyers also use it on nymph and dry fly bodies and even as highly visible parachute posts, which puts it in play for trout on freestones and tailwaters when you need a little extra visibility and sparkle without going heavy.
