Hareline Stonfo Adhesive Reel Line Clip

What it is

The Hareline Stonfo Adhesive Reel Line Clip is a small, adhesive-backed clip you stick directly onto a reel to hold and manage loose line. It’s built to be durable, with strong adhesion so it stays put. On the water it’s just a simple line-retention point that helps keep things from slipping free and tangling.

What to tie with it

This isn’t a tying material for the hook; it’s a reel accessory for fly line organization and tangle prevention. Use it to retain fly line on the reel and to lock down tag ends like tippet after you’ve reeled up, so the loose end doesn’t unwind.

Flies and the fish they're for

No fly patterns are tied with this clip, and none are specifically linked to it. Where it helps is with any fly you’re fishing—trout, bass, or saltwater species—because keeping line secured on the reel prevents loose coils from catching and creating tangles while you’re moving between spots or stowing your rig.
