What it is
Hareline Ultimate Dubbing Brush is a dubbing brush tool built with stiff nylon bristles. It’s dual-sided, with two bristle sizes, so you can choose a little more finesse or a little more bite when you’re working on a finished fly.
What to tie with it
Use it at the vise to pick out dubbing fibers and rough up bodies so they look buggier and hold a little more air and movement in the water. Compared with the Ultimate Stainless Steel Tearing Dubbing Brush, the nylon-bristle Ultimate Dubbing Brush is more multipurpose and less likely to damage synthetics. The stainless option picks fibers faster, but it’s less versatile and can remove synthetic fibers.
