What it is
UV2 Raptor Hackle is rhea feather hackle made from rhea quills. The fibers are lively in the water with a lot of motion, and the material is built to take abuse so it holds up over time.
What to tie with it
Use it for feelers and antennae on shrimp and crustacean patterns, or as moving collars and veils on bigger flies. You can wrap it like hackle, spin it in a dubbing loop for a brushy profile, or tie it in as small clumps when you want targeted movement without bulk.
