Scientific Anglers Magnitude Grand Slam Full Clear Fly Line

Magnitude Smooth Grand Slam Full Clear is Scientific Anglers’ clear floating saltwater taper in WF8F through WF12F. The decision point is line size. WF8F–WF9F keep things lighter, while WF10F–WF12F step up when you need more mass and stiffness for bigger flies and harder wind.

Scientific Anglers uses DuraCoat dual-polymer construction here to balance stiffness, abrasion resistance, and a slick surface. They also pair it with their EST+ slickness additive for smoother shooting and durability. The line is made with naturally buoyant polymers, and some versions are offered with a 10-foot clear floating tip.
