Wet boats, rain, and dropped boxes happen. The Umpqua UPG Foam Waterproof Essential Fly Box is a waterproof storage box with a dustproof seal and a secure latch closure. Umpqua rates it to IPX 6.5. The see-through lid helps with fly ID without opening the box.
Inside, Umpqua uses a FlyTrap insert with angled entry points for faster loading. Deep gutters add clearance to help keep flies from getting crushed. There’s also a magnetic swing leaf to add another storage surface without a big jump in bulk. The Large measures 7.75" x 4.5" x 1.6".
