Tailing

Tailing terms

Tailing is where Tailwaters anglers share the fish they catch. To post or comment, you agree to these rules.

Post your own fish. Only share photos you took or have the right to share. Don’t post someone else’s photo as yours.

Keep it clean. No nudity, hate, threats, bullying or harassment. No spam or ads. Nothing illegal, including fish kept against local rules.

Be decent to other anglers. Disagree about flies all you like. Don’t attack people.

We check what goes up. Every photo is checked before it shows. Anyone can report a catch or a comment, and we read every report. Three reports hide it until we’ve looked.

We remove what breaks these rules. We take down posts and comments that break them, and we remove anglers who keep breaking them, without notice.

You can block anyone. Blocking someone hides their catches and comments from you. They aren’t told.

Your spot stays yours. Pins sit about a mile from where you were unless you choose to share the exact spot. Our privacy policy explains what we keep and why: see its Tailing section.

You can leave. Delete your Tailing account from your profile at any time. Your catches, likes, comments, handle and photo go with it.
