Ross Reels Evolution LTX

The Ross Reels Evolution LTX is a lightweight fly reel with a stronger version of Ross’s Evolution drag. Ross positions it as a mix of the Evolution LT’s sound and feel with added stopping power. The result is a reel that stays smooth at lighter settings, but has more headroom when a fish runs hard.

Across the size range, the change is capacity and drag requirement, not a different design. The 3/4 and 4/5 suit lighter trout setups where protecting tippet matters. The 5/6 and 7/8 make more sense when you want the same feel with more line and backing, and enough drag to lean harder, including crossover saltwater use per Ross.
