Rods designed by Lefty Kreh and Gary Loomis, built in Texas twenty miles from our door, priced so you can own two. Here is the whole fly lineup.
Rick Pope started Temple Fork Outfitters with one idea: build a rod that casts like an expensive one and price it so more people can fish. Nearly three decades later TFO sits in Grand Prairie, about twenty miles west of our shop, and the rods still come off the same production line they always have.
The names on the blanks are why anglers take that price seriously. The late Lefty Kreh and Gary Loomis, who founded G.Loomis, both designed here, working with TFO’s engineer B.J. Im. The LK Legacy carries Lefty’s initials and his idea of what a big-water trout rod should do.
We are an authorized dealer, which means two things worth knowing. You can cast these rods at the shop before you buy one, and if a rod ever breaks we can start the warranty claim with you rather than leaving you to it.

Anglers transporting single rod setups.
TFO rods carry a lifetime warranty for the registered owner, covering breakage from defects in materials and workmanship. Wear, accidents and rusty guides sit outside it, though TFO will sell you a replacement section rather than a whole rod.
Register the rod when you get home. TFO calls registration the first step to getting a rod repaired, and it takes two minutes on their site. To claim, email photographs of the break, the handle, the logo and the whole rod to their warranty address with your proof of purchase.
Bought it from us? Call the shop. We would rather start the claim for you than have you work out the process on a Sunday night.
Worth knowing: TFO’s registration page calls this a no-fault lifetime warranty while its warranty page limits cover to defects. Plan for the warranty page.

Ten minutes on the grass tells you more than any review, including this page. We keep TFO rods at the shop in Dallas for exactly that. If you are not local, call us and we will talk through the water you fish and what suits it.
