WHEN TO GO / SEASONALITY
Teton Valley Lodge operates from late May through October, with each part of the season offering distinct fishing opportunities.
Early Season :
The late spring months can be an excellent time of year to visit Idaho. After a long hibernation through the winter, water temps start to rise to ideal feeding temperatures and trout across the state will gorge as they begin the Idaho summer.
Middle Season :
June through August is considered peak season and offers the best dry fly action of the year. As the runoff starts to drop during early June, the prolific hatches will begin as well as exceptional streamer fishing. Terrestrials really start to go off as the season moves into late July and early August.
Late Season :
The late season at Teton Valley Lodge accounts for some of the best streamer fishing of the year. The brown trout are getting ready to spawn and become more eager to chase stripped or swung flies.
NON-ANGLING ACTIVITIES
The primary activity at Teton Valley Lodge is fly fishing, but non-angling companions should not be deterred from joining their fishermen friends. TVL can help set up excursions for non-anglers including golfing, day spa, sightseeing, or hiking. The lodge is also a beautiful place to relax with a book and take in the views of the Teton River.
