Slippery rock, wet wood, and mixed river bottoms call for a wading boot that grips without feeling clunky. The Grundens Bankside Wading Boot uses a Vibram Idrogrip outsole for traction in wet, varied terrain, and it’s compatible with Grundens HEXAGRIP alloy cleats and studs if you want to add bite.
Up top, Grundens uses a waterproof leather nubuck upper with rubber overlays aimed at rock protection and durability. Grundens developed it alongside the Boundary Wader to improve mobility and river feel, but it’s designed to work with any stockingfoot wader.
